"Shin Shakes Right"
I was challenged this year to adapt my favorite Hebrew reading program "Teaching the Aleph-Bet the Multi-Sensory way" (created by a mentor of mine, Stephanie Bernstein) for my multi-age kiddos. This curriculum was originally created for 3rd grade The emphasis being on the pneumonic rhymes, visual cues and learning centers to reinforce the name and the sound of each letter. Each letter is introduced individually. I was able to teach approx. 2 letters a week.
Creating a Shin and Bet out of homemade play dough:

This was the stamps center. Students had to match the stamp to the picture letter.
