הכובע שלי (my hat)

My hat sits on the globe as it waits for the Nitzanim students to arrive.  I always wear it during Hebrew.  I become an Israeli officer marching her soldiers into the classroom.  They line up outside of the class room.  They count off in Hebrew and march to the attendance board.

The students flourish in this routine. For me it is also a daily connection with my daughter, Noa.
Noa is currently serving in the IDF as a combat medic. While I miss her terribly, I know that she is happy, and doing exactly what she has wanted to do since 4th grade.
